The History of the Blue Lotus: The Flower of Intuition
The Blue Lotus has been around since ancient times. It was revered as a symbol of the sun and a representation of the sun god, Ra in Egyptian mythology. Ancient Egyptian structures were decorated in depictions of the Blue Lotus and even mummified pharaohs were covered and buried with them.
Historically, it has been used by practitioners of sacred rituals as an aid to reach higher levels of consciousness and connection to the Divine. Ancient Egyptians would soak the Blue Lotus flowers in wine for several weeks and use it as a sacred sacrament.
Effects
